☆Exchanging “What is Prohibited” alongside the Land. ★
이 프로젝트는 ‘체인징 가든’ 프로젝트의 일환으로 땅이라는 영역 안에서 얼마나 많은 것들이 우리를 금지하고, 규정짓고, 제한하고 있는지에 대해 이야기하고 이 한계를 뛰어넘기 위한 과정을 기록하는 프로젝트로 서로 다른 인물이 자신이 소유한 땅의 일부를 파트너에게 빌려주고 서로의 땅 위에서 금지된 것을 교환하려 합니다.
여기서 땅은 법적으로 허가받은 땅 만을 의미하는 것은 아니며, 예를 들어 화분 하나의 땅도 가능합니다. 불법 건축물, 불법 주거, 규정 등 법적 근거에 해당하는 “불법”에서 나아가 사회 문화 속에서 금지된 것에 해당하는 행위 또한 가능합니다.
내가 사는 한국이라는 땅에서는 한때 키 작은 대통령이 언짢아한다는 이유로 <키다리 미스터 킴>이라는 노래를 부를 수 없었고, 여전히 대마초를 피울 수 없으며, 내가 19살이 되기 전까진 불법이 아님에도 불구하고 콘돔을 편의점에서 구입할 수 없었어요, 그리고 많은 사람들은 자신의 땅이 없어 불법 건물에서 잠을 자죠! 하지만 당신이 속한 땅에서는 이런 것들을 금지하지 않는 땅이 있을 거예요! 그리고 당신에게 금지된 것들이 많이 있죠,
당신에게 금지된 것들에 대한 이야기를 들려주세요! 참여자가 모여 서로 교환할 수 있는 것들이 생겨나면 2018년 10월경 서울 동대문에 위치한 ‘동대문옥상 낙원 DRP’의 옥상공간에서 이 과정을 기록한 전시를 가질 예정입니다.

*간단설명*
1.나는 너에게 한국의 땅을 “조금” 줄 것이다!
2.너는 이 땅 위에서 너에게 금지된 것을 하면 된다.
3.그리고 너는 나에게 땅을 “조금” 빌려주고 나에게 금지된 것을 하게 해줘라
4.우리는 서로의 땅 관리인이 될 것이며,
5.우리는 불법 건축물, 주거, 규정, 관람, 태도, 문화 서로의 땅에서 금지된 것들에 대해 이야기하자.

This project is a part of the Changing Garden Project. It intends to discuss how many things prohibit, label, and limit us within the area called land and record the process of overcoming such limitations. The major action of this project involves people in different countries lending a part of the land they own to the partner and exchange what is prohibited on each other’s land.
The land here does not necessarily mean the legally permitted land and it can be as small as the land in a pot. It is also possible to commit an illegal act with legal bases such as illegal building and illegal residence as well as the acts that are prohibited in the society and culture.
In Korea, the land in which I live, there was a period when a song titled, ‘Tall Mr. Kim’, was banned solely because it displeases the short President, the marijuana is still banned, and I could not buy a condom from a convenience store while it was not illegal until I turned 19. Many people without their own lands sleep in illegal buildings. However, there must be the land where these things are not prohibited in the land to which you belong. Also, there must be many things that you are prohibited to do and we wish to hear about what you are prohibited to do.
When participants gather together and have things to exchange with one another, we will have an exhibition that records this process in the rooftop space of ‘Dongdaemun Rooftop Paradise DRP’ located in Dongdaemoon in Seoul around October 2018. The whole process will be shared through <www.lansuncity.com>
*Simple explanation*
1. I will lend you a “small” patch of land in Korea!
2. You can do what you are prohibited to do in this patch of land.
3. You then lend me a “small” patch of land and let me do what I am prohibited to do in it.
4. We will be the manager of each other’s land.
5. Let’s talk about what has been prohibited in each other’s land such as illegal building, residence, regulation, viewing, attitude, and culture.

1. 한평 땅에 건물을 짓고 그 안에서 담배를 피웠으면 좋겠어요
한국에서는 실내에서 흡연을 할 수 없으니까요.
2. 결혼한 사람의 연애. 왜 결혼한 나는 연애를 하면 안되나요?
드라마에서 결혼한 사람들의 연애 이야기라도 나올라치면 불륜이라는 이름 하에 너무 엄격한 잣대을 들이대고 욕을 욕을 해대지요. 사실 결혼 제도 하에 단 한 사람과 평생 산다는 게 오히려 불합리할 수도 있지 않나요?

about some prohibited activities in Bangladesh.
hi dear friends! Greetings from Chittagong,Bangladesh. It is great idea to make an international space to share our prohibited things in an wide platform and make option to find an alternative land to do it if some one really want to do something. I can say it is an initiative to make freedom for all around the world and try to revitalizing culture, community and nationality as boundary.
I would like to make a home wine project in your land, hahahha.. there is no chance to make it in Chittagong or Bangladesh, very strictly prohibited. now a days there is a new law approved(2 days ago) by the Bangladesh Government, it called ITC -Act-2018 which set very strict control in social, print and electronic media, it mean you can not say anything against the rolling government in this land. we can not say anything against religion in public in this land, last 20 years many writer, blogger died and forced to go out from the land sebaceous of their peach. there is many more to share... I will come again to add something more with it. and wish to hear more about you all from the different corner of the globe.

18살 여학생인 나에게 금지된 것들.
청소년인 나는 법과 부모님 아래 보호받고 있고, 성인보다 책임져야 할게 적으며 핸디캡이 있는 건 사실이지만 청소년이기 때문에 금지되어 있는 것들은 수두룩하다.
담배. 청소년인 나는 아직 당당하게 담배를 필울 수도, 살 수도 없다. 그런데 길거리에서 교복을 입은 남학생이 담배를 뻑뻑 피우고 있으면 아무런 일도 일어나지 않지만, 여성인 내가 사복을 입고 담배를 숨어서 피면 정말 많은 사람들이 쳐다보고, 늙은 아저씨들과 아줌마들이 혀를 글글 차거나, “여자가 담배를~~” 하며 귀에 딱지가 붙을 때까지 말을 건다. 나도 당당하게 담배 사서 눈치 안보고 뻑뻑 피우고 싶다.
